What your yard needs through the year, and the City rules worth knowing.

- **Spring:** Clean-ups, fresh mulch and the first mow. The City picks up spring leaves in April; the dates are on its Sanitation Calendar.
- **Summer:** Lawn care and maintenance, gardens, irrigation, bluestone patios and stone walls.
- **Fall:** Fall clean-ups and pruning. Framingham takes leaves only in paper bags or containers marked yard waste. Plastic bags stay at the curb.
- **Winter:** Snow removal. Good to know: Framingham's rule says snow can't be pushed into the street.
